Maryna's  paintings of Emotional Realism capture light, color, and feeling, drawing the viewer into places of beauty.

I have loved painting since I saw for the first time the Gorodetskaya decorative painting as a 6 year girl.  I was mesmerized by bright yellow, black and red colors.  Since that I was exploring and mastering different types of folk art and modern art and techniques. My hope is that my work evokes the same feelings as I experienced and that someone will feel drawn to a painting the same way as I was first drawn to it when attempting to capture that moment in paint.
